Samuel L. Plank (1821-1900) was an Amish folk artist in Mifflin County, Pennsylvania, who was known for his paint-decorated boxes and frakturs. Seventy-two full color illustrations show Plank`s diversity, variety & artistic charm. Plank’s work is highly prized by collectors. These documented objects by Plank can share the status of Lehn, Weber, and Bucher, also well recognized & appreciated Pennsylvanian German Folk Artist.

Included is The "FAMILY RECORD" compiled by D.E. Plank in 1908 & illustrated in its entirety, a valuable resource for genealogy study.
